Site is very slow after update to 4.5.7

Hi,

We have problem with our site after update to 4.5.7.
The site is very slow.

It came just after the update and I have checked with our server provider and they say nothing is wrong with the server but they can see an much higher load after the update.

I after that I also did the Joomla update but is still the same problem.

Please look at it and give advice.

I checked the page load of Homepage and it loading at my side within 2 seconds with a page size of around 2MB.
You can apply the tips given here and to speedup the page load speed.
Also, let me know if there is any specific page that loading slow at your side, I will make a test for it.

Is it just the jomsocial pages or the whole site?

And the traffic levels are at the same level?

Well it´s mostly the main stream.
It´s a big diffrent after last update and it´s when we have between 15 -20 klicking at the same time.
Some times with less it´s not that bad.

Something happend with the update.

Anyway, I will look at all your suggestions to speed up the page anyway.

Hi pankaj,

I did a lot of the tips you gave.
1. Enable Joomla cache
1.2 Enable Joomla system cache plugin
2. Enable Joomla compression - Gzip compression
6. Optimize CSS and JavaScript

The result was that some pages like Event didn´t work.

Site was still slow anyway so please login and have a look at it.

we made some change in the backend configuration as the notification refresh time and all other settings is set to 1 second that slow down a page a bit.
We tested page on different location and its pretty fast now.
