How soon until Joomla 6 compatibility for Jomsocial?

It's been a month since the release of Joomla 6 stable. How is Jomsocial progressing towards compatibility? Any estimate for when an updated version will be ready?

We have a large collection of products, so the migration process takes some time. Currently, our developers are prioritizing updates for the T4 and T3 Frameworks, templates, Gavick products, JomSocial, and Guru. Ad Agency Pro will follow in the next phase.

Okay, but can you at least tell me if the Joomla 6 compatibility plugin will be required or not?

It depends on the migration. If JomSocial requires many functions to operate across Joomla 4, 5, and 6, then the backward-compatibility plugin may be necessary.
