Custom font not displaying on Purity IV

Hello,

I am having a lot of issues trying to import and display a custom font in Purity IV on a Joomla 5 website.

The font is actually a Google font but it is old and probably the reason it is not available from the T4 framework font selector.

The font is called 'Varela Round'

I added this font file in the three methods available on the framework - css file, font file url and directly adding the font - and although it was imported successfully, I can never make is display though CSS.

I also found that some Google fonts actually available in the Font selector is also not rendering, such a 'Alata'

The website is using Bulgarian language, but this may not be the cause of the rendering issue because the 'Varela Round' is used in the current version of the website which is on Joomla 3.

I would appreciate it if you can have a look.

This Varela Round font family is available when you search in Google font in this template. I just tried in my dev site and it loads fine:

You are correct the font is available on the selector - I don't know why I was not able to find it earlier.

And the mistake is mine: the Varela Round font does not have a Cyrillic character set that I would need to render Bulgarian text.

So, it looks like it is not working, but with English content the font renders fine.

You can try other font families which support Cyrillic character such as: Montserrat, B612, etc ....
