Main Menu width

Hi Joomlart-team,

I am looking for a way to make my main menu wider. Currently, of the menu items breaks out to a second row. I want everything to fit in one row. Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi mjmo,

You might consider widening the container of the current header block or reducing the spacing between items to allow them to display on a single line.

thanks for getting back. I've added the site details. The site is an upgrade from J3 (J3 currently live on the main domain) where all the template settings are the same but the main menu shows on a single line.

In addition, I've noticed another minor issue: The smart search module displays its proposals on the right hand side of the search field instead of below of it. Is there also a fix for this. There is no such issue on the same tenplate in J3.

There's one other issue that I don't understand:

The "Photogalerie"-page does not show the Masthead although it is configured in the main Menu. I assume this has to do with the Joomgallery component forwarding the URL to "/photogalerie.html?view=category&id=1". Is there still a way to show the masthead?

thanks for checking. It seems to work now. I re-created the menu item and by that, the URLs changed as well.

Two more question:

1) I can't get the template to display the passkey option in the frontend (login link on footer menu). Is there anything I would have to enable? the webauth plugin is activated and Passkeys work fine in the Joomla backend.

2) In the article view in Joomla 3, I used to show the author, the publish date and the number of views right below the title.

In J5, only the date (without year) and the number of views is shown and in addition the alignment is left instead of center. What's more, the little gear-symbol in the upper right corner that enables sharing and printing is missing in J5. Is there a way to fix this?

For the article info, I added some custom css rule:

}
