These features are not available now in JomSocial.

tapiochre When an email notification such as "Person X just replied to your comment", the link provided in the email takes the recipient to a page to read the comment. If the user is NOT logged in, is there a route to add a Login link or Icon (like the Logout Icon) so that user can quickly login?

This could be done.

tapiochre If that same user is already logged in (session still alive), the user sees no Toolbar to allow him to reply or continue with other interactions.

How can we activate the toolbar for such a logged in user when clicking the link in the email mentioned above?

Could you share some screenshots illustrating how it should be?

Looking again at this topic, the SECOND issue is now resolved. The FIRST issue however would be great if addressed.

I envision a simple Text link in the grey bar top right of the comment, showing "Login", Ideally, choosing this link will give the username/password panel and upon correct application of credenatials, will return the user to the comment page which will now show the toolbar etc.

Thank you. I have applied that patch (renamed source base.php to _base.php and uploaded new base.php). Sadly, if I am not logged into JomSocial and I click the link in the "Personn has made a comment on your stream" I see the stream but do not see a login popup.

Can you look again at this one? Would it help to have an SU login?

mikeymike I'm hoping so. A local patch gets me going but obviously I would be concerned if future JomSocial updates actually overwrite the mod.
