The trick to sub-page layout?

HI Folks,
I've created a template style for my home page. Also Three other styles, each assigned to other pages. I want every other page on my site, as well as any new pages to inherit the sub-page layout from my home page style. I can't seem to get this to work.
As a related question, how do you determine the template style used on any given page?

Under each template style, you will see Menu Assignment section in which you can assign that template style to any menu item page you wish.

If there is no assignment, a page will inherit the default template style on your site.

Regarding to the subpage layout, you can find this settings under Layout settings of template:

and assign the sub-layout if needed.

In order To edit the sub-page layout, Am I correct that I need to create a new template style, edit the main layout of that style, then assign the layout as the sub-page layout of another template style?

birdwaves You're right, there is no place to edit the sub-page layout directly as the main layout.

You can temporarily clone an existing template style to have a new one (or use existing one) >> assign the sub-page layout you want to edit to the main layout and edit there.
