Shape5 Vertex, is there a Joomla 4 version?

We are testing a Joomla! 4 update on our site and have not found a template replacement yet. We are using shape5_vertex, will a Joomla 4 version be available?

Thanks for raising this up. To be honest, we're working full time in upgrading JoomlArt/Gavick/iJoomla/Jomsocial/... products to J4 first and monthly templates. We have limited human resources.

Hi. I use Vertex template, too, and I am planning to switch to Joomla 4.
In case I would like to change template with another, among yours, compatible with Joomla 4, which one would you suggest as similar as possible to Vertex (as for layout, module positions)?

ita4012 Each Joomla framework is different from each other, if you'd like to switch to other framework, I recommend to use T4 framework in JoomlArt or Gavick 🙂

Hi. Yesterday, I was trying to test some templates among those ones you suggested. I tested Ja-simpli, and Ja-Stark.

Ja-Simpli is quite simple to configure, and it would be quite easy to switch my website to it from S5 Vertex, but it is not based on T4 framework.

Ja-stark is based on T4, but I noticed some issues that would need more job if I would like to configure my website upon it (e.g. Kunena forum layout is strange).

So what would be the benefits to use a T4 based template?

Moreover, this topic (https://www.joomlart.com/forums/d/41619-update-to-joomla-4-urgent) gives some hope that you will update your templates based on Vertex to J4 before august 2023. So, maybe the simplest solution is to wait for that update.

Each framework will have its own advantages, pls check out T4 for more info: https://www.joomlart.com/t4-framework

And the most important is that T4 is new and designed for Joomla 4 and we're creating new templates based on T4 framework only.
