Using Paypal plugin for 2 separate accounts

Is it possible to use the GuruPro Paypal plugin twice so that two separate Paypal account can be used? In our particular case, we're trying to get paid with INR (Indian Rupees) so we got a India Paypal account for that purpose. So the plan is to have buyers select Paypal for INR, and the other Paypal for all others.

Sorry Guru does not support this option, may be you can rename the plugin and take a try. or you can use Paypal Pro plugin as a different account.

So when you say "maybe you can rename the plugin", do you mean making a copy of it and giving the copy a different name? If so, how do I make a copy of that plugin?

Regarding PaypalPro, I looked into it as an option, but then need to pay $30/mth just to use that option.

Yes you can try to rename the plugin. It's a custom task and it may pass or fail as the main work will be same by both plugin. You can find the plugin in Guru download zip.

Hi you have to change folder name, and also change XML file too. To make a new installation entry. Once done make a zip of it and install. Do some test and check if it works. Again it's a test May pass or fail.

So do you mean that, in addition to changing the folder name, I just change the name of the XML file, for example to paypaypal2.xml, or something in the content of that file?
And the same can be done for the stripe plugin?

Its a custom take needs different testing and implementation. Yes once u rename the plugin check the installation. Also check after install it must have different tables name.

Got it! I meant that I will try changing the name of the directory and the XML file, test it, and if of interest to you to pass on the info to someone else in the future who would have the same issue.

Tried it. Installed it. Joomla's installation said it was successful, but can't find it under the plugins list, nor under GuruPro.
So I'm looking to hire someone to work on this. I'll let you know the outcome.

Strange that you mention this because I asked you if there was anything else to change than the name of the folder and the name of the XML file, but I didn't get from you that I had to change anything within the XML file.

We were able to create a second Paypal plugin to integrate with GuruPro in order to accept payments in Indian Rupee (INR).
If any of your users would like to get that plugin I'll be happy to refer him/her to the Joomla specialist I used. Or if your company would like to get it for future releases, let me know.
