Hi Support I cannot save or use the JA mega filter with J2store. See demo

Hi,

Kindly check the filter 'testja', I just created it via backend and it can be saved normally.

For the notice message, it seems come from j2store core files which have some PHP functions that are not compatible with the current PHP version your site is running with. You can hide these messages by going to Global Configuration > Server tab > set 'Error Reporting' option to None.

This can be done from the Joomla global configuration > error report > None.
I also not found error if i add a new one http://prntscr.com/on9fp9
I set the error report to default and there is no error on save http://prntscr.com/on9hfv

May I know which 'Options' I need to unpublish in order to save the filter? From your record video, I see all options are enabled and you can save the filter.

You can unpublish everything except ones starting with "master". But my question is twofold

1) can we save new categories in ja mega filter without unpublishing

2) if I use all the options in creating over 2000 products is the store going to work?

This is a quite large number of options but you can increase some settings for PHP on your server side like memory_limit, max_execution_time, ... It would work fine.

You can try with this tweak:

1- Backup your site first
2- Make change a bit in the database of your site, if you have access to the database in your server, maybe PHPMyadmin, open database of your site > find table

then change the datatype of params column to MEDIUMTEXT

3- Install this updated package:

j2store.zip

4- Check the filters under JA Megafilter again, if you still can't edit / save any filter, try to delete it and re-create a new one for it.

Unfortunately, I think it didn't help.
ad 2) Database table was changed
ad 3) New package was uploaded/installed
ad 4) I still cannot save changes, even with new filter.
We tried from two different browsers to be sure.
I installed ArtAdminer (simple PhpMyAdmin) component, maybe it may help you

But also didn't help.

I responded with my cpanel info by submitting a premium ticket. This will give you access to mysql database.
