You still don't get it.
If you did my solution, there would be no problems with duplicates!
The resized thumbnails should go in a subfolder of the folder where the images resides.
So if image is:
images/animals/dogs.png
The resized thumbnail goes in:
images/animals/resized/dogs_320x180.png
If image is:
images/other-animals/dogs.png
The resized thumbnail goes in:
images/other-animals/resized/dogs_320x180.png
This is MUCH better solution, cleaner, easy to find the images, and not with a random string attached. But with a proper path and filename. And there are no problems with duplicates.
It's really not that hard.
And I am able to customize the PHP code by myself if i want to. But I really shouldn't have to do that. Because it's so easy and simple for you to do it in a good way, why would I have to hack the code on every update?
I really care about Megafilter and I would like you guys to make it good in the first place, I don't want to have to hack it to make it good!
