keyword ads not displaying in yootheme zoo

Hi guys

I included this in another support question, but I've been trying to figure it out and have additional details.

The ads with keywords are not displaying in some zoo areas.

The zone is set to use keywords, the ads have keywords, and the categories, subcategories and the items have the keywords in the meta tags and in some cases, in the title.

When a zoo page loads with a keyword ad, the module itself loads - the advertise here link is visible - but the ad with the keyword does not.

When there is a default ad for the zone, and the module is on a keyword item, only the default ad loads, not the keyword ad.

For example : https://accidentallyaccessible.com/products/transportation/automotive-accessories/helping-handle

that listing has the keywords transportation and automotive in the meta keyword area - only ONE ad has those keywords, however all the ads in the zone are displaying

https://accidentallyaccessible.com/products/transportation the ad zone is displaying correctly with the keyword ad on the category page

https://accidentallyaccessible.com/products/transportation/automotive-accessories the module is showing all the ads in the zone even though only one ad has transportation and automotive in the keyword area

It works perfectly on regular joomla articles

I'm not sure where I went wrong in the setup or if I'm misunderstanding how it should work.

Can you please help?

The keywords has been support for the Joomla Articles. Let me check it with development team about the zoo component as it worked for Joomla articles only.

Hi,

This should work for any page from your site that have keywords, no matter if is joomla articles or zoo items. I need the site administrator access, and site ftp account, I need to check the issue on your site and debug the problem.

That's what I thought, it's just not working on this particular site. All the login info including cpanel is in the details.

I have tried everything I can think of, redid all the menu links with keywords, added keywords everywhere, they show in the source, I've tried with just one keyword, I've tried with everything being keywords

https://accidentallyaccessible.com/products/pet-products - that category is pet products, the menu keyword is pet, the title of the page is pet products, the header, everything has pet, and there is one ad in the system with the keyword pet, the module shows, but no ads.

I've uninstalled (fully - database tables and all) and then reinstalled ad agency, backed up and reinstalled the site itself, moved the module into it's own position (within and outside of advanced module manager) and tried in the yootheme template and in protostar with the one test ad, the module shows, but no ad. When there are no keywords, all the ads in the zone display.

This article page for testing works perfectly, https://accidentallyaccessible.com/fashion-and-lifestyle with fashion and lifestyle as keywords, the zoo category with those same keywords does not show the ads.

Hi,

Unfortunately I can not replicate the issue in our dev site, I need your site access, I tried to access the site administrator page but this doesn't work.
Please make sure that the zone has this option - "Display ads based on keywords:" to "Yes", in zone - ad details - tab.
Also, make sure that the campaign and the ad are assigned and are for the same advertiser, and make sure that the ad is published, the campaign is available, maybe there is not a keyword issue, maybe is not something set how should be.

Hi Alin - sorry , when I rebuilt the site I forgot to activate the superadmin account

I've been using ad agency for YEARS, I've had easily a dozen or more clients license it for their sites - this is the only one I've had that has this issue

the zone is set to keywords
the content ALL has the keywords in the meta tags as well as many in the name
the menu item to each category also has the keywords in the meta area
there is only 1 advertiser (me)
there are only 3 zones, and only 1 has ads
they're all assigned to the only advertiser

I'm sure I have something set incorrectly I just can't find it.

Hi,

The issue was that in site pages, the keywords are with empty space before and after comma:

"accessible products, gifts, gifts for a disabled person, handicapped person, accidentally accessible, universal design, gifts for elderly, old people, toys for a disabled child, "

"automotive, transportation,car handle,automotive-accessories, help getting in to cars, "

I made some changes in adagency module and now should be ok, I made next steps for test, please let me know if this is not what you mean:

For this zone - Half Page - I set default ad to NONE
For both ads "Half Page Ad AA" and "Test Ad" I set in keywords this text: "test"
In these pages:
https://accidentallyaccessible.com/
https://accidentallyaccessible.com/products/transportation/automotive-accessories/helping-handle
I can see the zone but with no ads, because there are no "test" keywords in none of these pages
In this page - https://accidentallyaccessible.com/ I can see these keywords: "accessible products, gifts, gifts for a disabled person, handicapped person, accidentally accessible, universal design, gifts for elderly, old people, toys for a disabled child"
and I added for this ad - "Test Ad" - this text on keywords - handicapped person
Now I can see only this ad in this page - https://accidentallyaccessible.com/ but in this page - https://accidentallyaccessible.com/products/transportation/automotive-accessories/helping-handle - I can not see the ad, in this page the keword - "handicapped person" - is not there.
For this ad - Half Page Ad AA - I set this keyword - "automotive" - and in this page https://accidentallyaccessible.com/products/transportation/automotive-accessories/helping-handle I can see the ad because in this page the keyword "automotive" exist but in this page https://accidentallyaccessible.com/ I can not see this ad because the keyword "automotive" is not there.

Please let me know if something is not ok.
