single slash for images path URL?

I mentioned this in another post but am still having some strange issues with Desktop Chrome not being able to render images properly. It randomly shows broken images (only in Chrome) for some reason and I can't figure out why. One thing that is consistent though is that the images URL has two slashes. {site url}//images/...

I have set $live_site = siteURL with NO slash. I dug into your plugin code and I see in some places that the image path is set to be siteURL + /images ... and I experimented with taking out that first slash but it is not working. I am thinking I am not finding it in all the right places plus this is a horrible workaround. Is there any way I can get the Ad Agency Pro plugin NOT to have the slash in front of the images URL? No other image on the site has a double slash and they all work fine. Thank you.

Your site still have the redirection rules, once i disable the URL rewrite it again started working.
Kindly edit fields in first post and submit site FTP details.
Also disable the server cache and disable the redirections, Set the public $live_site = '';

Thank you very much for looking into this. I need to resolve this asap as my client has an event April 10 and are very concerned with why this is happening. I have updated the FTP login info. I turned the URL rewrite back on so I don't have the index.php in the main URL (https://dcat.mettledev.com/pharma-news instead of https://dcat.mettledev.com/index.php/pharma-news). My client does not want the index.php.

I already had the configuration.php with: public $live_site = 'https://dcat.mettledev.com';

I use SiteGround for hosting and do not have any server caching turned on. In the Joomla config caching was also always turned off.

Thank you again for looking into this but I unfortunately could not wait so we moved forward with changing some of your code. We updated: /modules/mod_ijoomla_adagency_zone/helper.php.

Please let me know your thoughts or if you foresee this causing any major issues (other than when we have to update the component).

We are only using Standard banners so we changed line 495:
OLD: $imageurl=$mosConfig_live_site .'/images/stories/'.$ad_agency_folder.'/'.$banners[$i]->aid.'/'.
NEW: $imageurl='/images/stories/'.$ad_agency_folder.'/'.$banners[$i]->aid.'/'.

We also changed line 1247:
OLD: $imageurl=$mosConfig_live_site .'/images/stories/'.$ad_agency_folder.'/'.$banners[$i]->aid.'/'. $banner_row->image_url;
NEW: $imageurl='/images/stories/'.$ad_agency_folder.'/'.$banners[$i]->aid.'/'. $banner_row->image_url;

You need to put the site url to blank as i shared, there is no need to add URL on it, it will be auto picked.
I am sharing it with dev team about the changes you applied.

Even when the Site URL was not set in the configuration, it was still adding the double slash which was why I specified no slash in the siteURL in the configuration.php. I have never seen this happen before where Chrome decided not to show images but other browsers do.

So will you be changing the code for the next update so the image URLs do not have the siteURL before it like we did? I am just curious so I can apply the next update with no issues.
