missing category template

I have been asked to migrate and tidy up a joomla site using JA Healthcare template (note: I am accustomed to WordPress and haven't worked with Joomla in about a decade). Migration went well with akeeba, got the site up and running, reinstalled any plugins/extensions etc. that didn't appear to be working correctly starting with T3 framework, and now I am trying to tidy up the content, however I am having trouble with things as simple as following the documentation for this template so I think I'm missing something and hoping someone can give me a pointer as to what...
Judging by the jumbled state of the content, I don't think the original individual knew what they were doing either lol

The point where I am getting stuck right now is (in the docs) Step 2: create category - where it instructs to set a template for the category ("Doctors") I do not have anything in this dropdown - only default.
So I'm thinking I must be missing something, but I'm not sure what, though I'm hoping if I can figure this out, everything else will fall into place! (wishful thinking I know)

In the K2 interface, I am trying to set up category TeamMembers to resemble that in the documentation I linked in my first post.
I have added an admin login to post info.

The existing display of staff has been set up by creating articles and using html to display summaries with linked images etc and certainly isn't as attractive as the template is presumably capable of!
As I said, I'm not very familiar with Joomla, so hopefully it's just something simple that I am missing 🙂

Thanks, due to the need to get the site tidied up quickly because it is a live site, I have used custom html/css to achieve my goal, but I would like to know what I'm missing for future reference, since I may have to work with other joomla sites in the future, and in order to update the template I had to purchase access so I'd like to be able to make full use of it!

Ninja in regards to the template type, I could not find the ja medicare template when searching for documentation on the joomlart site, so I was confused right from the start! I thought, well maybe that's the one...

When searching the joomlart site, if I enter medicare the link which comes up is a 404 error, and if I search medical, it only displays the health care template.

The feature listed on JA Healthcare work only with JA Healthcare template.

it happened due to same type of templates. Both are used for Medical sites.
in case you have any issue in future, do not hesitate to open thread on forum.
I moving moving this thread to JA Medicare forum and closing it as this issue is answered.
