Installation Issue

Before I provide all the above information - Let me ask a couple of questions. I purchased Ad Agency Pro v6 for our Gantry 4 built Joomla 3x site. When I tryed to install the component thru the admin panel it tells me there is NO Component to Install. I DO NOT have JoomSocial Installed and really don't want it. Is it Required? If not - the Install instructions and videos I watched are based on version 5. Am I doing something wrong? Cannot afford - as most - to break my site trying to make this work. Have I wasted my money? Most all the information I am reading here is based on Joomla professionals. I am not that.

No it is not mandatory to have it installed AdAgency works also without jomsocial installed

If you look at the download page there is a txt file with instructions to install it

To install Ad Agency:

Login to Joomla Admin (Joomla 3.x only!)

Choose Extensions->Extensions Manager->Upload Package File

Install the file that starts with com_adagency_pro

All Ad Agency modules will be installed automatically, to find them, go to

Extensions->Modules

Enter “Agency” in the search box

To display ads on another Joomla site, install the remote module (The file name starts with mod_ijoomla_adagency_remote_)

Tested right now on my local the installation procedure for it and it worked fine

That seems to be the problem > pavit com_adagency_pro

In the zip file that I have downloaded there is NO file named as above.
I just downloaded the latest package available to me. 6.0.21
Also downloaded the Install Guide and read it just like you said. Based on Version 5
There is NO com_adagency_pro file in the zip package.

You will need to load the downloaded file adagency-pro-component_6.0.21.zip through joomla installer as is, you should not extract it , the install guide refers to software with release 5 but procedure is exactly the same for release 6.0.21 file name is changed -

Again i tested it on my local and installation worked fine .

That is what I am doing and received the error. When I select the zip file to Install it acts like it is going to work then says there is NO component to install.pavit

Had to install with FTP- uploaded that way then installed

it might be issue due to lower PHP value for upload size and max execution time,
In this case you need to upload it via tmp folder.
We need your site access to check it correctly and install it. Kindly provide the access via EDIT FIELDS option in first post.

Thanks - I will give you an answer on this soon. The site crashed on friday but is is up after my paid experts got it back up. I am asking them to look at the Adagency problem as well. We may have to have you step in.Ninja

I have added you as a superuser to the site admin and an ftp account. There are leftover files from my first install of AdAgency Pro 6.021. Since I was able to set it up previously with what I needed, if you can salvage those files it would be nice. Let me know when you intend on working on this because there are others working on the site. Ninja

One final update - AdAgency has been fixed. The component was disabled. Thanks

It might be someone disabled it,as you are talking help from your dev.
If you will get any issue, do not hesitate to open thread on forum.
