iJoomla Component Integration with Stackideas Components

Hello -

I am interested in using Guru, AdAgency, and other iJoomla components; however, I am concerned about the lack of integration with Stackideas components, which represent the core functionality of the websites I'm developing. The last time I inquired regarding this issue --- approximately one year ago ---, I was told that iJoomla components would not be integrated with Stackideas components. Has anything changed with respect to your policy regarding integration of your components with Stackideas? For example, is there a Guru app for EasySocial? Will Guru auto generate groups in EasyDiscuss in the same way it does with Kunena? Although I wish I could use your products, I am reluctant to do so until I have a sense of the strategic direction you are heading vis-a-vis Stackideas components due to the central role these components play in the basic operation of my websites.

Hi, I was speaking more in a general sense. One of your most popular templates is JA Intranet, which was designed to specifically support EasySocial, EasyBlog, and EasyDiscuss. Wouldn't it be beneficial for users of this template --- and these components --- enjoy greater intgegration with iJoomla components? Moreover, wouldn't it provide a strong incentive for users of Stackideas components to upgrade their subscription to Joomlart in order to enjoy the greater integration with iJoomla components?

Hi, Do any of your components offer avatar (and profile link) support for EasySocial? For example, would a user avatar in Guru link back to the user's EasySocial profile?

Or let's say i'm interested in using your DTH Donate component with my social networking website that runs on EasySocial. Will the avatars in the DTH component link back to the profile page in EasySocial?

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion; I got your point but in order to integrate EasySocial with our extensions such as DT Donate / Guru / etc... each one will require a plugin for this integration. Unfortunately, these plugins are not currently in our development roadmap, we are working on big improvements that will be helpful for the majority of our customers. As teitbite mentioned above, if there are more people interested in this feature, the team will consider to implement it as this task often takes time.

Hi,

I have an EasySocial website and working with another ad extension and has been a headache to implement, even though it was built to be. This is unfortunate as it appears to be a good advertising extension. From what I've seen, seems to be worth the cost.

I believe if you were to have AdAgemcy integrateable with EasySocial, you would have more customer.

We have taken this request for Ad agency, however its not yet started because it required some changes from the 3rd party extension, we are checking the possible option for this and will check with Easysocial team on this very soon. If they are also able to collaborate, we will start the integration.

At this moment its hard to commit on this because showing the ads on another component required some changes in that component itself. I will keep you updated here with Progress on it.
