I just installed the JA Focus Quickstart, and noticed that the JA Builder Component & System Plugin are both included. Are they necessary for JA Focus to run, or can they be removed? I prefer to remove any unnecessary software from the web server, when I can.

Yes, you can disable it if you don’t use it.
