which module position should i be using so the slideshow appears and looks like the demo on the edenite showcase page?

when you download the template there must be a tutorial page that shows the module position for each template. if ure using joomla older than 1.5 use site> preview inline with module positions
if 1.5 http://www.invmonit.com/joomla-modules-location-map
basically When you add a ‘&tp=1’ to the site url all the positions will be highlighted
