On one of my case histories the slide show shows and it shouldn’t.

You have to create a separate menu for this article so it open under the menu where this article associated.

Sorry I don’t understand – all the case histories are set up the same – ie no individual menu item?

Hi
The page you shared is not a menu item, if you will check the menu items and find the alias its not present.
At this time the page is loading under the Home menu as custom URL.
So its showing the slideshow. The slideshow is set to show on homepage.
You have to create a separate menu for this article so it open under the menu where this article associated

In Joomla if an article or category is not selected under a menu it will open under home page.
Same is in your case.

The URL u shared is not a menu its custom url of article that open under home.
