We are trying to edit the JA Xena II shopping template. The header banner is not one file to edit. The logo in the banner, cart image and the background are aligned to show as one Banner. We tried a simple way but it turned like this,

The help file does not give any idea about editing the logo. Please help us. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Could you like to edit the images or just to remove them, and use the underlaying image that you have placed at the top?

You have to download the source file for Ja Xenia II. It’s called JA_Xeina_source_files.zip

The zip package contains the editable photoshop images as you asked for.

    Cart.psd is the shopping cart.
Header.psd is image at the top.
    Logo.psd is the logo image.

Open these files with photoshop and you will be able to make your changes.

Well we did and opened the psd file with Photoshop. In the file cart.psd we could see the whole header banner. And in the cart it has the text “The cart is empty” we edited the whole banner uploded but it looked like a mess. Do we need to slice it in any way and upload?

Yes. You have to slice the image or select and copy / paste into a new image.

Rememver to remove the text called “Your cart is currently empy” , “Your virtuemart cart” , “View cart” and the shape called “shape 2” as these are automaticly placed by Joomla! the text is based on your language.

The new background image of the shopping cart should be 464×80 pixels.

You have to save it as wm-cart-bg.gif and place it inside the images folder under your template.
