Hi all.

I was putting together a site and had it on a spare domain to test it. I now need to move it to the correct domain.

Here’s the test site:

http://mydurham.co.uk/new/

and here is the domain that it will be on:

http://cartermoore.co.uk/index.php

I simply downloaded the original site to my desktop, changed the locations on the configuration.php file and uploaded it to the new domain after first installing joomla on that domain.

The problem I have is that all the links on the new domain point to the old domain. :confused:

The database also seems to be using the old domain.

How can I rectify this? Will I need to do a fresh install of Joomla on the new site then start from scratch putting the site together?

I also have an error in the admin pages of the new site:

PHP magic_quotes_gpc setting is `OFF` instead of `ON`

Any help in getitng the above sorted would be much appreciated!

What did you change in the configuration.php?There must be something you forgot there.

I had made the first two changes, but missed the third.

I guess sometime it just takes an extra pair of eyes to pick upon things!
