I’d like to have User1, User2 & Newsflash modules positioned above Body module. Is this possible and how would I go about it? I’ve seen other similar requests but they are unsolved.

You need to edit the index.php file and move the parts similar to <?php echo mosLoadModules ( ‘user1’,-2 );?> above the main content block.
