I have a specific need for the Social Feed plugin. It works great to pull in my RSS feed and convert it to a Joomla article. However, I need the article alias to be the same as the title. Can the plugin be set not to create it’s own alias?
This is what it is showing in alias feild: rss-id-p-61771
I need it to show the article title like the default joomla: state-moves-to-ease-restrictions-on-mh-sellers

Hopefully this can happen otherwise I can’t use this module and will need a refund.

Hi @accupulse1,

Here is quick fix to get full alias.
Open file

/plugins/system/jasocial_feed/jasocial_feed.php

Go to line number 1594 and change to this (see attachment below)

$alias = JApplication::stringURLSafe( $item['title']['value'] );
