We’ve upgraded to the new Anion template for 3.8 and all seems to be working well. Thanks!
On the previous template we changed to the width of the right column by changing the values above. Those updates did not come across.
We incorporated these changes into the newly updated template but they do not have an effect on the width of the mainbody panel or the right column. Any ideas?
December 11, 2017 at 10:55 pm #1080495I guess I spoke too soon. There are other issues with the upgrade. You’ll notice the site logo on the home page is correct, But on all other pages throughout the site, it defaults to the T3 logo. Also the main menu is different on all pages except for home page. Any ideas?
December 12, 2017 at 12:43 am #1080514Ok, we fixed the T3 logo issue. Updated the T3 components after updating Joomla to 3.8, then cleared cache.
However, template.css file still seems to be ignoring the code we inserted from above:
ja-mainbody{
width:630px !important;
}ja-right{
width:340px !important;
}
.ja-contentslider{
overflow:hidden;

December 12, 2017 at 3:45 am #1080567Hi,
This template is not available yet with J!3.8.2, I recommend you to wait for the new release of template before updating this Joomla version.
Kindly share the credentials of your site so I will check if I can help.
Regards

December 13, 2017 at 2:51 am #1080779Hi,
‘ja-mainbody’ and ‘ja-right’ are IDs so when you declare the CSS rule, it should be:
#ja-mainbody{ width: 600px !important; } #ja-right{ width: 340px !important; }
You missed the ‘#’ before the IDs. I updated for you and you can see it’s applied on your site now.
December 13, 2017 at 3:18 am #1080785Ok, thanks!
We’ve recently noticed another issue. Since the upgrade to 3.8 any new articles created, incorrectly include the two image sliders even though the slider modules are specified to only be included on the home menu item.
Notice the article for "Ice Cream Man – blu-ray review" on the home page. When the article is opened, the two image sliders are at the top of the article. The sliders are specified to only appear on the home menu page. It Only started doing this since the update. Ideas?
The main slider module is called "Home Slider," the one below it is called "new on blu-ray" these are set to ONLY show on the home page and not on the article, but they appear at the top of every article created since the update no matter which category the article appears in

December 13, 2017 at 8:20 am #1080877I think the issue is from the menu assignment. When you click to open that article, you can see in the URL, it belongs to the home menu item which means that it’s still displaying under home menu item and the slide is also showing there.
Did you have any menu item other than home for this article (or category this article belongs to)?

December 14, 2017 at 1:55 am #1081041Hi,
Are you using any extension for SEF?
When I tried to disable the SEF URL option in Global Configuration, it worked fine. So I guess the problem comes from one of SEF extension or there may be rule on your server side for SEF, kindly check.
Regards
