i have checked your site, seo can’t enable because permission of configuration.php file , it is “read-only”, now , Please change permission for it to “755” or “777”.
About header slide , i see it runs well.

my problem is also SEO but quit different.

When seo is turned on, all is ok except for when you click a category name. This is only on JANews. Any ideas? you can see the page at http://www.dessertsmag.com/new_install

one other thing not related to SEO, JaNews seems to be unpublishing our categories from the main menu if they are listed on the front page. Is there any way of fixing this also?
