Update:

On the JABiz QuickStart (upgraded to Joomla 3.6.4), the error with the JA slider module applies to other modules as well. There is something wrong with the actual Joomla.

I have not been able to resolve the issue with the main site, for which I provided access details.

Fixed with the able assistance of Pankaj.

Installed and then removed K2 and this fixed the problem.

Excellent service from Joomlart.
