Hi,

I am on Joomla 3x and JA event template is 2.5 – can it work on 3x? If not, how can I move the entire site to 2x?

Also, can you share with me the user documentation for the user of JA Event template? I am new and have no idea how to use the template.

Hi

You can directly install the quickstart for Joomla 2.5 , it installs Joomla version 2.5 plus the Ja Events template as seen on demo site

Here you can find ja events documentation

Joomla 2.5 reached end of life so i would suggest to start with one of latest templates released that are also responsive since based on T3 Framework
