I changed my header-main-top.gif but now it is not wide enough. The source file in the .zip file for .psd’s has a width of 587 or something like this, but the whole box is like 600 in the template..

How did you get the cart to display in the upper right column? I’ve been having issues with that. Also your product categories on the left pane, once I changed that Title on the module title it didnt like that at all and I received an error.

I have no idea, dude. Your cart is in exactly the same place as mine switching between sites.

As far as the product categories, I have no idea, man. I just have a standard Joomla/Virtuemart installation.

Sorry I can’t be of more help, but this place is a little like the blind leading the blind (save for the owners of the site…)

Anyhow, back on topic: is there a reason the .psd newsflash/cart background seems thinner than the one in the template original version?

Matt,
You will need to change following color code in the template_css.css

#ja-headermain-top {
background: url(../images/header-main-top.gif) no-repeat top right #FE9800;
height: 95px;
width: 605px;
}

and in and wide_layout.css

#ja-headermain-top {
background: url(../images/header-main-top-wide.gif) no-repeat top right #FE9800;
width: 825px;
}


As you can see there is also a background color #FE9800 at the end, you will need to change to your new color code, base on your current image at

I will suggest to change #FE9800 into #471864

Hello again.

Look at the header-main-top here:

(width of graphic is correct)

and here:

(width of new graphic, using the .psd file included in the source folder, is too narrow, and has a color block on the left side).

How do I make this graphic wider? Is the .psd file too narrow?

The file on the demo site http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=ja_shopping_ii above is listed as 605 pixels wide when you download header-main-top.gif, but the .psd file is listed as 597 pixels wide. Perhaps this is the problem?

Hello.

I fixed the problem by downloading the .gif’s from the demo site and altering the colors in photoshop. The included .psd files are incorrectly sized at 597 pixels instead of 605 pixels, which is what the template calls for.
