December 21, 2017 at 9:36 am #1082630Adding HikaShop custom fields filtering was a great and well needed improvement
in your JA Mega Filter product. Now there should be another logical and easy to implement improvement:
To be able to organize the order in which custom fields show in the filter.
Is very common to need a custom field to be first before the category tree.As of today I can only do this with Base fields and for any good Hikashop developer
custom fields are a key feature to a powerful website the same way JA Mega Filter
has become a key product for a professional filtering. Please see the attached image for a better understanding.
Hope you can implement this feature as soon as possible.
Best regards.

December 22, 2017 at 2:11 am #1082785Hi,
In the backend settings of the filter, try to drap & drop to change the position of based fields and custom fields?

December 22, 2017 at 11:31 am #1082890Hi,
You are right, but i can’t put "Custom fields" in the first place. If i save the content, it always put first "Base Field".
Anyway, thanks a lot for the great upgrades and constant update on the product.

––––––– Additional Clarification –––––––
What Victor wants to say with this post is:
-
We see that Groups on the left column can get their order changed.
-
Then when we save the changes we realize this order change is not preserved, then, Base Fields are always first in their renderization in the filter module.
- There seems to be a bug preventing Element groups in the left column from saving their actual position.
––––––– END of Additional Clarification –––––––
There is an attached image for extra illustration of the problem.
