Open the module > Extra block class: section-primary
Change the class from Typography page or define your own class in custom.css file and then add the class here http://prntscr.com/dyexw4

.sections-wrap .section .section-inner.section-primary,
.sections-wrap .t3-module .section-inner.section-primary {
background-color: #039be5;
}

Hi
I suggest you to use custom.css file to override the template css changes so it will not be overrides on template updates.
