I can’t edit the layout in the Tamplate Style Edit see:

and i have the wrong layout, see:

But the only thing i did was update to Purity III Version:1.1.7

The custom layout file is empty , this is reason the layout not showing on site
"/local/etc/layout/schuppesser-corporate.ini" in template "purity_iii".

This is reason the layout not showing , i suggest you to restore the "/local/etc/layout folder from older backup and check .

Also i noticed There is forbidden error in the layout section > http://prntscr.com/byve7l
Check this with your hosting team , may be something wrong with permissions .

The Problem with the Layout was a ?tp=1 prevention in my .htaccess that i added because of some advice from myjoomla.com…

avter removing this, it works aigain

Start ?tp=1 prevention

RewriteCond %{QUERYSTRING} tp=(.) RewriteRule ^(._)$ index.php [F,L]

End ?tp=1 prevention

This explains the empty ini files, to….
