Please post all of the bugs found into this thread. We will try to resolve/response on the same day of your report.

Quick notes:

– Try to be as detailed as possible about your browser
– A picture worth thousand words
– If you try to install some other extension and force them to have a wall style, it may not work.
– We have 2 plugins (JA Pager & JA Social Feed) which are made especially for this template, they may not work with other templates. Some final tweaks are in progress for JA Social Feed.

May want to add in to final Wall Guide that when installing Sample data to use the drop down to select the Blog Sample Data or we will have a ton of questions about site staying stuck on Install Sample Data when installing. 😉 IMHO

ja_wall_beta_quickstart installs fine.

Install from Directory method

ja_wall.v1.0.0_beta installs fine.
plg_system_jasocial_feed.v1.0.0 installs fine.
ja_system_japager.v1.0.0: install fine. ##see pic

I’ve been testing out the quickstart setup on a Mac and a Linux server both using Apache and the currently documented features.

– social feed plugin is not fetching any tweets. however facebook and youtube works fine.

– when adding pictures to an article, clicking on the uploaded image does nothing. so i have to type the path and filename manually.

– i have to edit a mysql table to add new menu items

Tried with Opera, Firefox & Safari

Thanks guys for the invite first of all!

Unpublished articles and categories on home page.

So set up very quick with two languages. Nothing bar home set in one but tested with a few articles assigned language and works as per normal Joomla so far. Not pushed or really tested yet.

Do have an issue with categories and articles though in English and set to English. Category ‘health’ is set to unpublished, all articles in category ‘health’ are now unpublished, cache is cleared, no caching on Joomla, browser cleared down.

Articles are still appearing on English home page, but linking to read more brings popup 404.

Same is true of all social articles twitter etc – gave up trying to get to debug info as I got bored keep scrolling down and with 2500 feeds to come!! :-[

Tried with php 5.2.7 which I thought might be a problem, so now running on 5.3.4 and problem persists. Joomla 2.5.4 stable. All directory permissions writable. Configuration.php seems normal log path and tmp path are right. No warning messages. MySQL is 5.1.9. Running Chrome Version 19.0.1084.30 beta on OS X 10.7.3

Documentation is lacking information regarding CRON setup and operation.

The FeedGator component mentions it briefly in its docs (COMPONENTS > FEEDGATOR > SUPPORT > CONFIGURING AUTO IMPORTS USING CRON) , but there should be something up front in the template documentation addressing this issue for our clients.
As without a working CRON this template will not work, apparently.

I forsee a LOT of customer support requests regarding this issue.

Windows XP, Apache 2.2.11, MySQL, 5.1.30, PHP 5.2.8

have no luck using the quickstart package when trying to install sample data. So, if Blog Sample Data or Brochure Sample Data is to be chosen, then we won’t get the similar looks as the demo.
Working around by skipping the install sample data and then import sql bia phpmyadmin (+ a little sql editing)
by this way we can achieve the similar looks.

hopefully more are coming.. 🙂

Unable to replicate your issue.
Sample Data installs…usually within 45 seconds.
It is a MUCH longer install than you are probably used to due to the incredible amount of demo content.
