T4 Blank Template - How to prevent certain bootstrap js files from loading

I am using T4 and the JA Blank Template.
I use an Add On to load bootstrap.bundle.min.js
For some reason, drowdown.min.js and collapse.min.js are also loaded, and these interfere with bootstrap.bundle
If I block them, the problem goes away.

I cannot figure out what causes them to be loaded. They are not in the blank template.

If you look at either the Chrome Inspector Sources or the HTML page source, you will see that dropdown and collapse as being loaded. They should not be, and they interfere with bootstrap.bundle/

The addon I am using is simply bootstrap.bundle.min.js version 5.0.2

As I can see that dropdown.min.js and collapse.min.js are loaded by Joomla’s Web Asset Manager (WAM).

Is that bootstrap.bundle required for your custom template works properly?

Please try to make a test this way:

Temporarily disable that boostrap.bundle
Check whether the problem still persists or not

This will help to narrow down where the issue comes from.

I have tried the test your suggested, thanks. I have isolated the problem to a modified JA login module. Without the bootstrap.bundle, the modified JA login module does not open the modal, but it all works with the standard JA login module.

So the problem is in the modifications to the module. Thanks for the help.
