Unable to change content

For some reason I am unable to change the content of the Hero content on the home page since I renewed my subscription and updated my templates.
Specifically when editing: Main Menu / Home (Module Assignment tab) / Hero (*****). If you change wording in "Title" and click save, then the old content simply reappears?
Can you find why this happens please?

UPDATE I had updated from the zip download files when I experienced the problem. Later 2 extension updates were found and this resolved the problem. However there still seems to be a disconnect between content changes and it appearing on the public site. Even when I manually clear the cache the content does not update?

As I can see that you have System Cache setting enabled in Global Configuration of your website:

If your website is still under development stage, you can temporarily disable it for now.

Thank you, this fixed it. However my site is not in development mode but occasional changes are expected. It seems odd I would have to disable cache each time I make a change. Even clearing the cache did not help, so I don't understand what cache settings should a working site use?

The issue is caused by Progressive Caching. It caches the page output aggressively, so frontend changes may not appear immediately even after clearing cache.

I recommend switching Cache Handling from “Progressive” to “Conservative” and see how it goes.
