Changes to Subscription Plans

I wanted to reach out regarding the recent changes to your subscription model.

I’ll be honest — I’m very disappointed to see the extension-only subscription being removed. I’ve been using your extensions for years, and they’ve always been my first stop when building out my Joomla sites. I don’t use the templates, so this change makes it much harder to justify continuing at the new pricing level.

One of the things I’ve appreciated about JoomlArt is the flexibility in how we could choose what we actually needed. Losing that option feels like a step backward, especially for those of us who rely specifically on extensions rather than full template access.

I’m hoping there might still be room to reconsider or offer a more focused extension plan in the future.

Also, I wanted to point out a bit of confusion I noticed:
In one area, the pricing shows $120 for templates only (JoomlArt, Gavick, etc.), but in my dashboard it appears to include access to all JoomlArt and Gavick templates and Joomla template extensions. I’m not sure which is accurate, so some clarification there would be really helpful.

I’ve genuinely valued your products over the years and would love to continue using them — I just hope there’s a way to make the new model work for those of us who primarily rely on extensions.

I’d like to clarify the changes in the new pricing model a bit more clearly:

Previous Subscription Structure

Previously, subscriptions were separated into multiple plans:

JA Pro — $89: access to JoomlArt templates only
JA Extensions — $55: access to JoomlArt extensions only
Pro Plus — $120: access to JoomlArt + Gavicks templates only

New Subscription Structure

With the newer model, the subscriptions have been consolidated and simplified.

JA Template — $120: this plan now includes: all templates from JoomlArt + Gavick + Shape5 + ... and JoomlArt extensions.

JA One is essentially the successor to the old Ultimate Developer subscription. It includes everything across our ecosystem

The goal of the new structure is to simplify access and provide more value within a unified subscription, although I completely understand that it may feel less flexible for customers who mainly rely on extensions only.

Your feedback is absolutely valid, and I’ll make sure it is shared with the team internally.

P.s. you can submit a new ticket for discount if you're using extensions only.
