Pop up not working with JA Image Hotspot Module

Hi,
I first used ja image hotspot in 2014 for a very successful school project (a virtual school visit).
The site remained up and running for several years. A couple of years ago, the module stopped working (the image popup wouldn't open).
I've now updated everything (Joomla 5.4.1, ja image hotspot 1.3.2, PHP 8.4 and Helx Framework template), but it still doesn't work.
My hosting is Altervista.it, and this is the problem (I tried a different hosting - Aruba.it - and it worked with Joomla 6 and Helix template). Can you help me fix the problem?

The problem is due to incorrect interaction between the module and the template. The popup opens "behind" a template element (I haven't figured out which one yet), so it doesn't seem to work, but it's just a display issue that's "hidden" by something.

The module works properly, although there appear to be issues with the size and position of the popups (I need to look into this further).

You can make a test by using this module in Cassiopeia template -- the default Joomla template and see how it works.

To test the functionality of the module I use the installation on thestiglers.it where everything seems to work fine. For the pacinottitaranto.altervista.org site, I found a temporary solution while I wait to migrate it to Joomla 6.
