Hi, new J6 install. Latest 2.2.0 VITAL template and latest t4 - unable to access template - returns white screen? please advise asap.

I have checked it and I need additional information such as cPanel and FTP access so I can debug your site. I tested it locally on the Vital J6 version and it still works normally.

What are you looking for exactly? You can see there is an issue within the site , doesn't help me that it works locally. Its been one issue after another with your J6 updates frankly. What other information would you need that's not in the full admin access you already have?

You need to enable the ‘Behaviour – Backward Compatibility 6’ plugin to ensure compatibility with J6. I’ve updated it for you, please check again

many thanks - Am I to understand then that your templates are not quite J6 ready then? Working now though.

Our template supports various Joomla versions (J3 to J6) so it requires this compatibility plugin.

OK, so if you update from 5.4.1 to J6 you have to disable this plugin, as above you are saying you need this for your templates to work - so if we disable and then update - my concern is that the admin area again is messed up and then we cannot re-enable that plugin, or can you assure me that if we update per above we can still access plugins?
I don't want to do this and find out its broken and waste more time fixing that?

Hi Mark,

As you can see in your screenshot, there are 2 backward compatibility plugin, when you migrate from J5.4 to J6, you need to disable the backward compatibility plugin - the one for J5.

The Behaviour - Backward Compatibility 6 is still being enabled 😉
