How to apply Dark Mode only on the Home Page in JA Purity IV (T4 Framework)

Hello,
I’m using JA Purity IV with the T4 Framework and I’d like to apply Dark Mode only to the Home Page, while keeping all other pages in Light Mode.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
• I duplicated the template style: one set to Dark Mode, one to Light Mode.
• I assigned the “Dark” style to the Home menu item.
• I set the “Light” style as the default for the rest of the site.
However, when I enable or disable Dark Mode in one style, the other style changes too. It seems that the Dark Mode setting is shared across all template styles, even if they’re assigned to different menu items.
I also tried using a custom CSS override with a class home-dark on the Home menu item, but the layout remains mostly light — likely due to wrapper elements that override the background.
Is there a native way to apply Dark Mode only to the Home Page in JA Purity IV, without duplicating the entire template folder?

You're on the right track — the T4 Framework allows you to create multiple profiles for template settings, so you can assign a specific profile to each template style.

In this case, go to Site Settings in the template style assigned to your Home menu item. By default, there are two built-in profiles for this section: default and logistics. You can click the Clone button to create a new profile:

For example, I named the new profile darkMode and set the Dark Mode theme as the default for this profile:

Save this profile, then assign this template style to the menu item(s) where you want Dark Mode enabled by default.

I managed to implement a dark-mode homepage with a light-mode layout for internal pages, using separate template styles and a custom script to override theme persistence. Everything is now working beautifully — thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
