Udating to J5.4.0 from 4.4.14

I am trying to migrate to J5 with JA Good template. It seems to be different versions for J4 and J5. Should I install the J5 version just before migration, or deactivate JA Good while migrating, using Cassiopeia?

Joomla 5.4.0 is a transition release that serves as a bridge to the upcoming Joomla 6.0. I recommend waiting for the new version of the JA Good template before updating your site to Joomla 5.4.0 or Joomla 6.0.

Yes , it seems to be Ja Good that stops migration from J4 to 5.4.0.
Would it be better to migrate to 5.3.4, waiting for Ja Good to be J6-ready? It seems to be way down the list.

You should use JA Extensions Manager component to update JA products 😉

That caused a new error just launching JA Extensions:

An error has occurred.
0 Joomla\Filesystem\Folder::files: Path is not a folder. Path: [ROOT]/administrator/components/com_myrssreader/

myrssreader is an old non working extension, removed before migrating from J2 to J3. There are a couple of them, hanging on even if the files are gone. I have got the advice to reinstall and uninstall, but the plugins do not exist anymore.

Found out how to fix extension manager (I had deleted some folders from dead extensions).
Trying to upload the new version Ja Good I get this result:

Please use JoomlArt Updates services in JA Extension manager component: https://static.joomlart.com/images/blog/2017/update-steps/extension-manager-configuration.jpg

instead of Local services.

It will work well then.
