I recommend updating your site to Joomla 5.3.4 only, as Joomla 5.4.0 is primarily a bridge release meant to prepare existing Joomla 5 installations for the upcoming upgrade to Joomla 6.0.
At the moment, both JA Sensei and the Guru component are not yet compatible with Joomla 5.4 or Joomla 6. Our team is currently working on updating them for Joomla 6. You can track the update progress here: https://www.joomlart.com/joomla-status/
