Errors after updating to t4 2.5.0_rc

Good morning - updated to T4 ver2.5.0_rc the other day. Keep getting a Joomla Unhandled Exception now. Joomla 5.3.4, php 8.2.29, Apache/2.4.62 (AlmaLinux). Is this something or worry about, or just wait until the next push?

Thanks for the report, I avoided updating because it was a RC.

I'd like to know why an RC is being offered for update as if it were a stable release.

Yeah, I should have known better... But several of my extensions are being "pushed" even as rc's as the move to J6 comes closer, but they are ones I get support from...

Hi Everyone,

We’ve received a few questions about the Joomla 6 update status for T4-based products, hence we’ve just released the T4 Framework compatible with Joomla 6 RC so you can start testing and exploring Joomla 6!

Please note that we don’t recommend using the RC version on live sites yet, as it’s still under testing.

We’ve also released an updated RC1 version to fix some minor issues. If you’ve already installed the previous RC version, please backup your site and then update to RC1 via the JA Extensions Manager component: https://www.joomlart.com/update-steps

Ok, thank you for the discussion. Yeah, I really knew better, but... Is there a safe way to revert to the production version? I we were on 2.4.7.

bwsevier Yes, you ca Roll back in Extention manager.

Does rollback work even if the update was not done via JA Extension Manager?

...not sure about that, but you can test it, when you click roll back, you will see what version it sugest to roll back to.

Thanks, I know how the JA Extension Manager works. And in this case, I don't need to rollback (I haven't updated with the RC).
I just thought the repository wouldn't be properly updated if it wasn't constantly updated from JA EM, and therefore I wouldn't be able to roll back if, for example, I had previously updated the extension with the generic Joomla manager.

The stable release of Joomla 6 is expected next week, so it’s best to wait for that version before making any updates.

The current RC version is intended only for those who want to test and explore Joomla 6 in advance 🙂

I tried to install T4 Framework for Joomla 6 RC quickstart and then launched the JA Extension Manager application.
It doesn't work.

An error has occurred.
0 Class "Joomla\CMS\Adapter\Adapter" not found

But it's an installation package from JoomlArt

Where is the mistake?
Component JA Extension Manager is not for J6., I think

So, there’s no need to install the T4 plugin separately. 😉

Just to clarify, guys here are suggesting to update the existing T4 plugin (v2.4.7 → v2.5.0 RC) on a Joomla 5 website via JAEM, not about using JAEM on Joomla 6, since JAEM is currently undergoing testing for J!6.

Yes, but I have new Joomla instalation before install joomlart package, because instalation is completely connected into new project on the own gitlab server.
Then first is Joomla 6 + git push, next is czech language + git push, next is n3t Debug plugin + git push, next is only T4 plugin...

Ok I prepare second joomla6 DEV vhost.
