using the template Fresco style home3 in the mobile style offcanvas the template gives two kind of menu's, where can I use of off the two and not both I prefer the one with the side table.

Hi Rob,
The first one is collapsed navigation and the second one is the off-canvas menu, you can enable/disable them via Navigation setting in template
I just disabled 1 for you.
