tell me, I was going to buy and faced with the problem of choice, namely, I did not find any understanding anywhere in the instructions, but is it possible to buy points or points in the system, for example, so that I can write off any actions from them or open access to anything? how do I replenish them, is there such functionality or not? how to organize it?

JomSocial’s native User Points System is designed to reward users for actions — for example, posting or uploading — and allows you to configure how many points are granted in each case. However, it doesn’t support buying points, nor does it allow spending points to unlock features or content out of the box.

If you're looking to let users purchase points, you’d need an aftermarket solution. There are third-party extensions (like “Buy Points for JomSocial”) that enable this via PayPal. For spending or deducting points for specific actions, custom development or logic would be needed.
