Different Template style in homepage, J2 commerce cart is not shown

Hi Team,
I recently duplicated the default Ja Purity IV template style in order to prevent component area from showing in the homepage (I just removed the Main Body section from the Layouts Settings of the replicated style). Unfortunately this resulted in J2 commerce cart is not showing when clicking on the cart icon. This is resolved by unassigning the template style from the homepage. Is there any way to retain both styles and the cart?

With T4-based template, T4 offers different profiles for Layout, in which you can clone an existing layout to have a new one.

In this case, you can create a profile such as home and assign this to Home template style of the homepage (without 'component' block) and another default for all other pages (with component block).

This is what I did, however I had this issue with the cart.

Hi George,

As I can see that you already created custom layout: tabula and tabula-home

You can setup the tabula-home layout without component block and assign to ja_purity_iv - Home Page template style, then assign this template style to homepage only.

Then assign tabula layout to ja_purity_iv - Default template style

Thank you for your reply.
I have assigned the custom layout to home page and now clicking the cart icon does not show the cart's contents.
Can you please check?

I assume it is because the url includes component/j2store/carts as component is missing from the specific template style.

gkagg This URL looks plain: component/j2store/carts

I think you can try to create menu item for j2store >> carts view if this J2 commerce supports this menu item and assign it to Purity IV template style with component block.
