Critical : JA Mega filter not creating SEF links

Hi Team.
we were using Joomla category blog menu items before to display all our category data.

Now we started moving it to JA Mega filter extensions for its filter options and better view.

The biggest issue with JA Mega filter is alias of menu.
Example :
we have a /blog menu item before that display category items .
all articles alias was /blogs/my-article.

Now we moved to JA Mega filter and menu type is changed from category blog to JA Megafilter menu item.
issue is /blog/my-article no longer working
JA Megafilter looking for Joomla content type menu to link the article alias .

We can not break whole SEO links with creation a new hidden menu item for example category blog.

Its a big problem at the moment with extension we looking for a fix.
any help would be appricaite if you can fix the router and give a path how to get it fixed.

The JA Megafilter component includes its own menu item type. You can change the alias of this JA Megafilter menu item to something like ‘blogs’, while keeping the category alias as ‘blog’. This way, when an article is opened, the URL will appear as desired: /blog/my-article.

Let me know if that works for you.

As i wrote we can not use 2 menu item alias one for mega filter and one for article.
it must be same. otherwise all indexing will be broken

can you fix mega filter so it will open the articles under its own menu item and not to select another menu
Please consult with Megafilter developer its very critical could not wait for days to get a reply on this.

It’s not possible to change the article URL structure directly within JA Megafilter. However, if you want to maintain the URL format /blog/my-article for your articles, you can try the following setup:

1/ Set the JA Megafilter menu item with the alias: /blogs

2/ Create a separate menu item (if it doesn’t already exist) that points to the blog category with the alias: /blog

With this setup, when you click on an article from the JA Megafilter results, it will redirect to: /blog/my-article

This approach helps preserve the correct and desired article URL structure.

the suggestion shared my you
i already shared in my first post with mention that it will make the seo links to be broken all together.

can you check with developer to fix this bug its really make the megafilter a non working extension in this case.
or share a path where we can customize the megafilter file (file details) that help to route the articles with megafilter
