module assignment on article page

Hi. How do I get the modules like the newsletter sign up to display on article pages? I've assigned the modules to sidebar-r, but they only show on the menu pages. Here is an example of the layout I want to achieve: https://ja-essence.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/detail/layout-3
