I have to ask this question, what happened to the native JomSocial User Management Tab?
Why was it taken away from the last two JomSocial versions.
I have been wondering on this, since a couples of day as there are things, I needed to do which seems impossible to do.
Below is a shot of an older JomSocial with Users and Multiprofile Tabs.
Without this, it is impossible to see and manage:
- All registered users
- All registered users
- Their assigned JomSocial profile type
- Quick edit/assign actions
- Easily filter users
- Manually assign User to specific Multipla User Profile
I know that you simplified your backend to integrate tighter with Joomla’s core User Manager.
You pushed profile assignment logic into registration only
You probably assumed multi-profile logic would be managed automatically by Joomla group-to-profile mapping
The issue is, what happens when a User chooses a wrong Multiple Profile during the registration?
Or If a User is cheeky enough to choose a group, that he/She should not belong to during registration
I mean, I see that is possible to hide a Multiple Profile Type during registration, so that Users can not choose that type of profile, but what if I as admin decided later to add a user to that profile type because he merited it.
How do I do it manually?
What If I as an Admin decided to change or downgrade a user to a Multiple profile type?
Why was such an important part of User management taken away?
Right now the only tab we have is Profiles

I am still building my platform and it is not officially on air, so I only have my team members register to test.
Still it is difficult to have an overview and insight on which user is in which Multiply Profile Type.
All I see is the number of how many Users are in a specific Multiply Profile Type, but not exactly which User/s!

I have been going through your documentation, searching the i'net and still not finding anything helpful.
Not only the User Tab was taken out but the Community Tab also as one can see the first screenshot.
