Unable to assign different template style to different menus

How do I assign a different template style to a different menu?

I can assign a different template style to the contact menu. But the contact component does not appear. See image below.

The contact component does appear when I use the default template style

This is what I want the website to look like. See the image below:

This issue also occurs when I try to change project submenus branding, ui/ux, illustration, and project details.

I guess you're setting JA Nova style with home layout as default template style on your site, this home layout doesn't include the component - main content block of a web page so nothing displays there.

I recommend to setup this way:

In Backend >> System >> Templates >> Site template styles >> create 2 styles for JA Nova template: 1 for homepage and the default template style for all other pages:

The default template style will use default layout: https://static.joomlart.com/images/template/ja-nova/docs/default-layout.png
while the home template style will use home layout: https://static.joomlart.com/images/template/ja-nova/docs/home-layout.png

As you can see my contact page is still missing the contact component.

I even set up th eja nova-default and changed the main layout to home2. The contact component is still missing.

How do I set the contact menu to use the contact component with home2 template style?
