Error condition in Guru Pro when selecting New Course

From Guru Pro menu Courses > NEW, an error is being generated:
An error has occurred.
0 readdir(): Argument #1 ($dir_handle) must be of type resource or null, bool given

Joomla 5.3.0
PHP 8.1
GURU 6.2.4
Template: Yootheme Page Builder: 4.5.15

I need help to resolve this issue, with the error preventing use of Guru Pro in a brand new buildout of existing website.

Guru 6.2.4 should work well with this PHP + Joomla version, you can share the super admin + ftp account details so I can check for you.

Thanks for your assistance. This week (and the entire month of June) I'm focused and dedicated to developing courseware with Guru LMS. I'm confident that I'll be successful with this new version & the support you provided was EXACTLY what I needed. Other than asking you about the details of what you found in the incubator.org platform, and about how you "fixed" the error issues. I'm very satisfied.

Actually, I could ALSO use some help with something else that I'm finding in usage of Guru LMS in Joomla 5.x
Which is that the Admin template which comes with this new(est) version of Joomla CMS, apparently changes how the Guru LMS component looks for administrator. Many of the labels and/or text are white out and require me to select text in order to highlight to see what's not visible. Is there an adjustment that I can make to remedy this? Or maybe a template that can be used instead of the default Joomla Admin template? I'm really challenged with the inability to see the instructions, the text, and the labels for 90% of the Guru LMS admin interface.

PABloBley The admin interface may not display correctly when using your browser's dark mode. For the best experience with Guru, please switch to light mode while using the admin panel 😉

Yes! I was using Brave & forgot that it was using system settings on my MacBook. So switching to light worked perfectly. Again, thanks.
