Simpli and Joomla 5

Is JA Simpli 2.0.4 compatible with Joomla 5? My site backend keeps reminding me support for Joomla 4 will end in Oct and that I should upgrade to 5 ASAP.

The JA Simpli template is outdated and not compatible with Joomla 5.

We recommend transitioning to the T4 BS5 Blank or Purity IV templates, which are fully compatible with Joomla 5 and PHP 8.x.

In case that you still love this JA Simpli template design, you can hire a developer to upgrade for you.

This is very strange, JA Simpli was presented as THE default Joomla template and is still listed as "The best Free Joomla Template". I use it on almost all the Joomla websites I made. So now you expect me to tell all my clients we need to change the template? I migrated a J!3 site to 5 last month with JA Simpli as template because on your website Simpli is still available for download.
So its is very reasonable to expect from Joomlart to update this template. Else it makes Joomlart unreliable.

At this time, there are no plans to update the JA Simpli template for Joomla 5. Our development efforts are currently focused on maintaining and enhancing our premium templates built on the T4 Framework, which provide better long-term support and full compatibility with the latest Joomla standards.

We strongly recommend exploring one of our actively supported T4-based templates as a future-proof alternative.

Hi @saguaros ,
I don't need and want the T4 framework, that's one of the many things that make Simpli my favourite template. If I really need to replace Simpli I probably make a template myself, that way I won't be dependant on companies that stop maintaining a product.

Simple solution to the problem for both sides: Make it a premium template! I'd pay $$$ for Simpli sites!

Yes, I'm interested. I used Simpli for several sites I built ages ago for fellow authors. Now, several more want sites....and Simpli isn't compatible with the current (required) Joomla versions.
