JA Megafilter behavior vs JA K2 Filter

Hello,
We've migrated from Joomla3/JA K2 Filter to Joomla5/JA Megafilter. We're currently seeing two key undesirable differences with the move to JA Megafilter:
1) the megafilter url includes filter paramters. E.g.: borrow/meet-our-borrowers#sort=position&sortdir=desc. We would really like to not see those.
2) JA K2 Filter was able to use the read more break to display only the short intro text. We've been unable to duplicate this behavior in JA Megafilter.

Are we missing some configuration options? How do we fix this?

I got your point but the JA Megafilter needs that part in the URL, you can set to sort by other credentials instead of the position: https://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-exclude-by-position-from-the-sort-options/#post-1076429

With the introtext, you can set to show this field in the filter configuration:

I wasn't able to access the administrator panel of your site with the provided credentials to check the intro text display. Could you please share the super admin details so I can take a closer look?

I've updated the credentials.
This is the page we're having the issues with (on our staging site):

1) the article description is not displaying properly but we are using the settings shown above.
2) we prefer the url from the old jak2 filter. Here is how that looks on the current production site:
https://fclf.org/borrow/meet-our-borrowers

If you compare the two sites you'll see the difference in the URL as well as the display of the article description - the text before the "read more" break.

I notice that the article descriptions (intro text) are displaying on the filter page:

Is this not the text you intended to display?

Compare the above to what is being displayed on Joomla3 with the jak2 filter. It seems like the megafilter is arbitrarily truncating the text whereas with the jak2 filter we're seeing all of the text before the read-more break. Which for the Handy article (the left most) is as follows: "Handy will purchase a new building, allowing the organization to expand services for youth to create a better future."

As you can see, the megafilter has truncated the last two words. See similar with the 3rd and 4th above.
